LeO seeks to massively hike up case fees
The Legal Ombudsman in seeking to "incentivise early resolution" are looking to massively raise case fees for firms whose complaint goes all the way to a final decision.
This could see case fees approaching a staggering £1,500. Early resolution cases would potentially be charged £200.
