Our Retainer Service

Compliance has become a major challenge for law firms. Our retainer service serves to reduce the ever-increasing compliance burden on legal practices.

Reducing the compliance burden

Most of our clients take advantage of our popular retainer arrangements. These are designed to relieve the compliance burden on the firm's management.

Being a retained client essentially means you are buying our time upfront and in bulk. That time is then tailored to a firm's individual needs. For a monthly fee we take care of all your ongoing compliance needs such as Lexcel, SQM, LAA contract compliance, GDPR, AML, CQS and SRA compliance. The question therefore is how much time does the firm require from JRS?

We start by migrating you onto our Lexcel or SQM Quality Procedures Manual and develop your standard forms, client care information and all other compliance documentation. Thereafter, we will maintain your documentation so that it always meets the latest requirements.

How it works

Partnering with our clients in this way allows us to fully understand them and identify ways of improving their practices and mitigating risk. We have a range of retainer options. The package that is right for you will depend on the size of your firm and your compliance priorities.

The benefits

Large or small?

Our retainer packages can be tailored to the needs of your firm. For example, for a small firm, a quarterly visit schedule is often sufficient. For a large firm a monthly visit schedule is often justified.

Alternatively, you might wish to sign up to an intensive retainer service to bring about the significant change you require then taper off the support as the systems bed in. Whatever your requirements we will have a package that suits you.
