JRS Consultants is a leading consultancy practice dedicated to to the legal profession. We specialise in delivering a variety of risk and compliance services to law firms of all shapes and sizes. Our team of consultants have a collective experience of over 90 years in law firm compliance and have assisted thousands of firms over the years.

JRS Consultants was established in 1996 by our former Senior Partner, Simon Pottinger. JRS subsequently became the leading consultancy for supporting firms through what was the Legal Aid Board Franchising Scheme. JRS grew solidly over the years to become the 'go-to' firm for legal aid consultancy.
The Legal Services Commission's (now Legal Aid Agency) launch of contracting led to a huge demand for our services to assist firms navigate the complexity of legal aid contracts and challenge the decisions of the LSC.
In 2010, we decided to widen the scope of our services beyond legal aid. That led to the development of our Lexcel services which immediately went from strength to strength. This was closely followed by the rollout of our SRA compliance support corresponding with the SRA's rollout of outcomes-focused regulation.
Since then, we have developed our AML and Sanctions expertise to guide clients through the regulatory complexities and prepare them for SRA audits.
